Kenneth E. Jones January 20, 1952 - July 29, 2006 Kenneth E. Jones, 54, of Nashville died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran, 101st Airborne, 20th Engineers Battalion, stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. A military graveside service will be conduced by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard. He was a member of the NRA and ICVM. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Jones was born Jan. 20, 1952 in Indianapolis, the son of Chelsea Earl Jones and Francis Maxine (Richard) Jones George. He married Peggy L. Knotts on July 24, 1970. Survivors include his mother, of Mooresville; sons, Landy Brian (Shanna) Jones of Henderson, Texas and David Anthony Jones of Columbus; grandchildren, Joshua Ryan Jones, Caleb Brennan Jones and Mason Alexander Jones; brothers, Jerry Jones of North Carolina, Richard Jones of Nashville and Robert Frank Jones of Nashville; and a sister, Janet Henson of Mooresville. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at JewellRittman Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Charles Kennedy officiating. CALLING: Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. BURIAL: Bellsville Cemetery in Brown County, Indiana.
