James Malcolm "Jim" Rueff July 10, 1949 - July 11, 2006 James Malcolm Jim Rueff, 57, of Taylorsville died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient facility. Mr. Rueff lived his early life on a farm in Johnson County. A member of the last graduating class of Nineveh High School, he continued his studies at Ball State University and IUPUI and was a tool and die maker at ArvinMeritor in Franklin for 34 years before his retirement. He was an active member of East Columbus Christian Church where he had served as elder, deacon and trustee and had been on the Missions Committee, taught junior church and helped with vacation Bible school. He also was a teacher, dorm parent and counselor at Hilltop Christian Camp, was former athletic director and girls basketball coach at East Columbus Christian School, and tutored students at Taylorsville Elementary School. He was a volunteer firefighter for 15 years and an EMT with German Township Fire Department, was an active volunteer at Club 50, and a member of Bartholomew County Senior Center. Born in Johnson County July 10, 1949, Mr. Rueff was the son of Charles L. and Jean Halliday Rueff. He married Donna Jean Duncan July 31, 1971. Survivors include his wife; sons, Randall Matthew Rueff of Taylorsville and Brent Andrew Rueff of Indianapolis; a brother, Dr. Larry (Gail) Rueff of Greensburg; and nieces, Laura and Erin Rueff, both of Greensburg. Funeral Information Visitation: Calling hours will be from 4:00 until 8:30 p.m. Friday July 14, 2006 at the Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Funeral:The funeral service will be held Saturday July 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial: Garland Brook Cemetery. James Malcolm Jim Rueff, 57, of Taylorsville died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient facility.
