Lillian Snodgrass April 07, 1907 - June 09, 2006 Lillian Snodgrass, 99, died at 11:00 a.m. June 9, 2006 at the Four Seasons Health Care Facility located in Columbus, Indiana. A lifelong resident of Jackson, Bartholomew and Brown Counties, Mrs. Snodgrass was a graduate of Houston High School and a member of the First Christian Church in Columbus. Mrs. Snodgrass was born in Jackson County on April 7, 1907, the daughter of the late James and Phoebe Stogdill Pruitt. Mrs.Snodgrass was employed as a book keeper for Reeves Auto, Dunlap & Co. and the Leppert Bus Line. She served as a realtor for the Abe Martin Realty Co. in Nashville. She was an assistant at the former teenage facility, The Jive Kennel. Also a member of Sigma Phi Gamma, the Professional Business Womens Club and an honorary member of the Nashville Art Guild. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Jane (Dale) Hull; grandsons, James (Libby) Lewis, Steven (Luanne) Lewis and David (Kerri) Lewis all of Lebanon, Indiana; step grandchildren, Susan (Evan) Jones and David (Karen) Hull both of Columbus; five great grandchildren and six step grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Clarence (Pearl) Simmons of North Vernon and a niece Shirley (Bob) Scott of Greentown, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Walter Snodgrass in 1963; three sisters, Mary Pruitt, Estelle Pruitt and Henrietta Hertel, and a brother William Pruitt. Funeral Information VISITATION: Monday June 12, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. FUNERAL: Monday June 12, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. BURIAL: Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Indiana.
