Carl A. Messina May 08, 2006 Carl A Messina, 78, of Hope died at 2:27 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2006, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mr. Messina was a carpenter most of his life, working for Repp & Mundt. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Born in Brown County Jan. 16, 1928, Mr. Messina was the son of Tom and Nellie Messina. He married Marjorie Guthrie Dec. 20, 1947. Survivors include his wife; sons Tom (Barbara) Messina of Hope, Tony (Donna) Messina of Venice, Fla., Dale (Mandy) Messina of Flat Rock, and Randy (Julie) Messina of Hartsville; sisters, Ann Miller of Flat Rock and Frances Miller of Nashville; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Day, three sisters and one brother. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Noon Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Dr. William H.
