Mary Marie Humphreys May 06, 1927 - October 29, 2005 Mary Marie Humphreys, 78, of South Gladstone Avenue, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility at Columbus. Mary was a member of Midway Assembly of God and was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her grandchildren, family and cooking. Mrs. Humphreys was born May 6, 1927, in Tishomingo, Miss., the daughter of Henry and Melverdie Parsons. She married Carl Humphreys on June 15, 1946. Survivors include her husband, of Columbus; a son, Steve Doc (Kathy) Humphreys of Columbus; a daughter, Linda (Roy) Anderson of Hartsville; a sister, Reba Vanderford of Mississippi; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren and six step greatgrandchildren.
