Nora A. Compton

Nora A. Compton, 69, of Columbus, passed away at 1:33 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH to Robert K. Cash & Virginia I. Owens Cash. Nora was currently employed at Kroger Marketplace and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, baking, cooking for family holidays and spending time with her pet dogs. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral home with Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until service time on Thursday. Burial will be at Westport Cemetery. Nora is survived by her children, Dale (Sarah) Lucas, Norma Lucas and Robert Lucas all of Columbus; brother, William (Peggy) Cash of Columbus; sister, Mary Hampton of Westport; grandchildren, Jonathan (Brittany) Lucas, Justin (Belinda) Lucas, Zach Lucas, Garrett Lucas, Josh Lucas, Eli Lucas, Tyler Miller, Jasper Gaetz, Josh Hurley, Kim Hurley and Steven McKittrick; and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert K. Cash; mother, Virginia I. Owens McKain; and a brother, Kroger Cash
