Nora Leann Hurt, 59, of Columbus, died at 12:05 a.m. July 24, 2019, at Columbus Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. Leann was born April 5, 1960, in Columbus, the daughter of Charles N. and Shirley J. Whitehead London. She was employed as a retail manager in the shoe department of Wal-Mart for many years. Leann had a green thumb and loved gardening. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Jeff Boriss officiating. Calling will be 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday. Inurnment will be at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society. Survivors include her son, Rob (Ashley Thomas) Seaman of Beech Grove; brothers, Dave (Jonita) London, Greg London and Tony (Amy) London, all of Columbus and a sister, Judy Immormino of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda London; and her furry friend, Chloe.   1. Leann was a wonderful lady her and I became friends over 3yrs ago we have had some fun times. We laughed, cried, and always had long talks. She treated my son like her own. Always had good long talks. I remember when i took her shopping at old navy and then i took her to lunch at her cracker barrel and she was so thankful cause she just loved their food. I will miss you my friend my you rest in peace love you Vanessa

  2. Rob I’ve known you since we were 5 and I have so many memories of your mom coming to school events, basketball games, and field trips at Lincoln. I remember being in Walmart with my mom and seeing her working too. She is young, like my mom was when I lost her a couple years ago. It’s not fair. I know how bad this hurts. I’m so sorry and know that I’m thinking of you and your family.

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. LeAnn was a wonderful lady. I will always remember how she was always smiling and could grow any plant. When she lived in Ogilville she had such beautiful flowers to match her beautiful smiles. Robbie your mom was a great person, The Seaman, London family has lost a gem. Prayers for you all.
