Clifford Scott Butler, 55, of Columbus, died at 12:32 a.m. August 1, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor. Clifford was born January 31, 1964, in Franklin, the son of Henry M. and Ruth Jane Bryant . He had been employed as a fork lift driver for 20 years at Columbus Container. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and helped get the brotherhood bike gang “The 8th Day Riders” established. Clifford enjoyed playing golf and drinking beer. He was always smiling and joking with friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with David "The Rev" Whitehead officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home Memorial donations can be made to the Cliff Butler Memorial Fund. He is survived by his daughters, Sierra (Samantha) Palmer of Columbus and Nicole (Joe) Esposito of Peoria, Arizona; brothers, Jeff (Wendy) Butler of Edinburgh, Henry and Danny Butler, both of Columbus and sister, Dawn Reeves of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Aiden Jacob Palmer, Bentley Michael Palmer, Lexi Marie Esposito, Olivia Grace Esposito and Amelia Rae Esposito.
