Donna Mae Ostick

Donna Mae Ostick, 91, of Columbus, passed away October 25, 2019, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Donna was born November 10, 1927 in Illinois, the daughter of Harvey Franklin and Albertine Delia Townsend Ostick. She is survived by her brother Stanley Ostick of Columbus; nieces and nephews Beverly (Pete) Hoagland, Eugenia Ostick-Linn, John (Ann) Line, Brian (Beckie) Eckelman, Beverly Clendenen, Will (Catherine) Ostick, Drew (Brenda) Ostick, Daniel Ostick, Susan (Charles) Clement; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents as well as brothers John Franklin Ostick and Charles Thomas Ostick; and sisters Marilyn Lavonne Line and Sally Lou Eckelman; as well as a nephew Jim Line. Donna graduated from Columbus High School, and then graduated with a Doctor of Fine Arts degree from Herron School of Art and Design. After moving back to Bartholomew County, Donna was employed as an Art Teacher for Bartholomew County Consolidated School Corporation. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Joseph Hart Chapter. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.
