John Edward Williams

John Edward Williams, 57, of Columbus, died at 3:34 a.m. December 3, 2019. John was born July 19, 1962, in Beech Grove, the son of the late John Edward Williams Sr. and Myrtle Adams Williams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served proudly in the military. John loved old cars and spent much of his free time working on them. A time of visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the V.F.W. in honor of John. Survivors include his son, David Reedy and daughters, Timberlee Williams, Amanda Williams and Ashley Reedy; a brother, David (Jeanie) Williams; and grandchildren, Finn Jones, Stephine Reedy, Alejandro Reedy, Giovannie Reedy and Jadon Dare Williams-Phillips.
