Janet M. Long

Janet M. Long, 44, of Columbus, died December 1, 2019, in Bartholomew County. Janet was born January 29, 1975, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Dennis Long and Linda Linney. Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 2 p.m. until time of service Thursday. Entombmentwill be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers Janet had requested balloons and angels be sent in her memory. Survivors include her mother, Linda (Al) Miller; sisters, Tina Spencer and Brenda Doss; son, Jacob; a daughter, Jolinda; grandchildren, Hannah, Aalyiah, Bentley, Leslie,Adrienne, Athena, Alex and Mackenzie; cousins, Bobby Luderman and Travis Luderman; ex-husband, Troy Wombles; and stepson, Justin Wombles. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Long, her grandparents, aunt, Vicky Luderman; uncle, Joe White; nephew, Aaron Dale Spencer; and a grandchild, Hayden.
