Audrey H. Streit

Audrey H. Streit, 91, of Columbus, died at 6:22 p.m. December 9, 2019, at her home.
Audrey was born November 16, 1928, in Lovett, Indiana, the daughter of Oscar T. and Pearl Bailey Harmon. She married Earl F. Streit May 13, 1950; he preceded her in death April 9, 1987.
She was a member of the Extension Homemakers, the Red Hat Society and Mill Race Center. Audrey enjoyed playing cards, games and socializing with her large circle of friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Teresa A. Poole officiating. Calling will be 11 a.m. until time of service Friday. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Mill Race Center in honor of Audrey.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Wheat of Louisville, Michael Streit of Columbus, Greg (Susan) Streit of Columbus and Jill Streit of Columbus; grandchildren, Megan Courtney of Louisville, Aston (Addison) Paulin of Louisville, Bryan Streit of Columbus, Brent Streit of Columbus, Alisha Streit of Indianapolis, Nicholas Streit of Columbus and Loren Gluck of Indianapolis; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; siblings, Junior Harmon, Alvin Harmon, Alice Harmon; grandson, Christopher Streit; and son-in-law, Jerry Gluck.
