Mark A. Kent, 54, of Columbus passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at his home. He was born on January 21, 1965 in Columbus. He married Sheryl Baker on June 2, 2000. Mark was previously employed at Rightway Fasteners. He loved his family and his animals. Mark was a great person. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Donaldson Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Sheryl Kent; father Larry D. Kent of Maryland; step-children, Amanda, Natasha, Jeffery and Dillon; a sister, Lori (Tim) Miller of Maryland; grandchildren, Xavier, Ayva and Aubrie; step-grandchildren, Shelby, Matthew, Carly, Lily, Taylor, Logan and Lila; grandfather, Glen Hadley; brothers-in-law, David and Steve Baker; uncles, David Hadley and Richard Sutton; a aunt, Cheryl McCain. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sutton Kent; daughters, Samantha Ford and Jamie Kent; brothers, Sean Kent and Darin Kent; grandparents, Jean Hadley, Ed and Myrt Kent; aunt, Janet Roscoe.
