Samuel "Bo" Radford Jewell

Samuel Radford “Bo” Jewell, 83, of Columbus, died at 1:00 a.m. January 15, 2020, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Bo was born September 7, 1936, in Sulpher Well, Kentucky, the son of Hazel E. and Bessie (Ballard) Jewell. He married Marjorie Rutan in September, 1961.
Bo retired after giving 48 years of service to Cosco. He enjoyed fishing and gardening but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2020, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
Survivors include wife, Marjorie; sons, Troy (Alena) Jewell and Brent (Kyra) Jewell; daughter, Kim (Dale) Jewell-Chamberlain, and eight grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Jewell; sisters, Ruby Edwards and Zelona Dire.
