October 5, 1993 ~ April 4, 2020

Cody Matthew Roberts, 26, of Columbus, passed away April 4, 2020. Cody was born October 5, 1993, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Robin Denise Howell and Timmy Wayne Roberts. He loved fishing, spending time with family, taking his kids to the park and outside to play, swimming, watching movies and listening to music. He was out-going, funny and had the biggest heart. He was a strong man, mentally, emotionally and physically. Cody was known to be a gentle giant, never met a stranger and was liked by everyone. Cody was a very caring person, a very loving father, fearless. He was always down for a good time. He was very loyal to all of the people he loved. Cody would want us all to be happy regardless of the situation. Cody was an amazing father to Taelyn and Greyson, and was excitedly awaiting the birth of Jamison, his second son. He loved family, especially being a big brother to Timmy and Ryan. He was the peace-make and glue to our family. Our family saying was, “Love you deeper than the ocean”. Not good-bye, it’s I’ll see ya later. Funeral services were private with cremation following. Survivors include his mother, Robin Denise Roberts and father, Timmy Wayne Roberts; financée, Lindsey D. Riley; son, Greyson Matthew Roberts and daughter, Taelyn Isabella Roberts; and brothers, Ryan Nicholas Roberts and Timothy David Roberts.

  1. I have so many memories with you, this is all so unreal and I’m unwilling to accept it. You weren’t just the best “brother in law,” you are my brother. My favorite memory with you, are all the hugs and support you gave me and my kids. You stepped up a lot and played the father figue to your niece and nephews(Mia and Cayden) when no else would. You always let them know that no matter, you’d always be there for them, and they still remember that. Your a big part as to why Cayden is such a gentle, emotional and respectful little man. You taught him amazing qualities and we thank you. We love you so much Uncle Cody, and your going to be missed. Until we meet again, smile upon us. See you later. Love you
