So sorry to hear about Pete, we met the Hoagland family a lot of them at the Plantation Bar. Pete was bartender one night when my husband Willy and I went after work one night he mix drinks for us instead of putting a double shot Willy he did a double shot in mind that was the only drink I had night I was drunk the bed was even spinning with me, when Willy told Pete about it he did let me forget it. Last time I seen Pete was when William died. My deepest sympathy to all the Family Love to all.
We lived across from Bev and Pete for several years. They were great neighbors! They always welcomed us for a chat on their front porch or to crash in their basement (with our two big dogs!) during a bad storm. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers!

I’d like to send sincerest condolences to the entire Hoagland family. I am so sorry for your loss.
I remember Pete (and Bernie) as young teens, and of course, Danny as a very young child. Being best friends with their babysitter, Judy Clark, I spent quite a bit of time at the Hoagland’s on U.S. #31, and lived right across #31 from the family.
I’ve always remembered Pete as a very sweet, shy young man and have fond memories of he and all of his siblings.
God Bless You All, Mary Beth (Beesley) Bott, Fostoria, OH.
Pete was a great guy he was married to my mom Faye Dampier years ago, and that was my half brother David Hoagland dad for a few years of his life.
