George W. Lehman

George W. Lehman, age 87, of Columbus, passed away at 11:38 p.m. Monday April 20, 2020 in Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. George served his country in the Air Force and retired from Cummins Engine Company with over 40 years of service. George is survived by his daughters, Holly Lehman of Columbus and Julie (Catherine) Bass of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren, William Timbrook, Karin (Stephanie) Timbrook and Ciarra Lehman; brothers, John (Ann) Lehman of Westport and David (Martha) Lehman of Bryan, Texas; sisters, Mary Lou Fullencamp, Dorothy Burton and Velma Murray, all of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara A. (Johnson) Lehman on March 17, 2018 and a sister Sarah Grace Idlewine. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Garland Brook Cemetery. Following the service, he will be entombed next to Barbara. Per his wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
