  1. I always loved talking about military experiences, he would suddenly perk up with that friendly and beautiful wry smile. We already miss you Elzy.

  2. The world has lost a truly gentle man. Praying for Elzy’s family and friends as they begin life with him in their hearts and memories.

  3. To Jeff , his mother , sister and the rest of the family so sorry for the loss ,prayers of strength and comfort to all.

  4. I worked at the library when Elzy did. He was always a pleasant person and fun to talk to because he enjoyed collecting various things as I did. I remember on break, he would look at the old bound volumes of Life magazine and we’d chat about old stuff we remembered. Good memories. I was sad to see he has passed . My sympathy to his family.

  5. Dear Sherry:: Very sorry to hear of Elzys passing… He was a true gentleman.. Your father always beamed when asked about your children after his trips to Columbus.. Due top the quarantine we are stuck at home and cannot make it to Mt. Olive services…Again please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.. Larry & Sara Williams

  6. So sorry to hear about the passing of Elzy. We both worked at Arvin Industries in Columbus, and also together at the Bartholomew County Public Library. Elzy took my place at the Library in 1996 when I left the Library, and when he retired from the Library in 2013 I came back full-time. Elzy was a good man, and we helped each other in many ways. I extend my thoughts and prayers to his wife and family.

  7. So sorry to hear of the passing of Elzy. My husband William Willy Wisdom work for Elzy before his passing, He thought a lot of him. My thought and prayers for you and the family. God bless you!
