When I think of Aunt Lola, I think of the good times at her house when we were kids. She opened her arms and her home to all that came.
She was a devout Christian that loved to share God’s word. She was a great example for all of us.

My prayers are with you all. I don’t think I ever seen Lola without a smile on her face. No doubt she is smiling walking the streets of gold. She had the best hugs.

Chuck and I were visiting my step dad at the nursing home and we saw Lola. I said honey she has to be your aunt as she looks just like your grandma. After that she and I grew very close and I introduced her to her Great Great niece, which is my daughter Faith and I introduced her to her Great Great Great niece which is my granddaughter Ava. What a beautiful ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! I was looking forward to seeing her again when the nursing home opened, but I guess it was her time to be with Jesus and her family waiting for her in Heaven. I know I will see her again sometime in Heaven with Jesus. Love you sweet Great Aunt Lola. A lasting impression you made on me, your nephew Chuck and your nieces. You will NOT be forgotten!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting this fine lady back in January. I visited her everyday. We talked about her love for jigsaw puzzles and her colorful bird pictures. She didn’t always remember my name so she called me Sis. She was a very special lady. R.I. P. Miss Lola.🙏
