James M. Walsh

James M. Walsh, 72, of Rogers Street, died at 12:51 p.m. May 21, 2020, at his home. James was born August 17, 1947, in Cincinnati, the son of Martin Patrick and Della Mae Sorenson Walsh. He married Mabel Bray June 19, 1970. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a computer technician (who loved what he did). He enjoyed playing cards and watching movies. Calling will be 4 to 7 p.m.Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted graveside at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Bethel Cemetery, Russell Springs, Kentucky, with Pastor Bobby Oaks officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mabel; son, Kevin D. Walsh of Russell Springs, Kentucky; brothers, Ron (Alma) Walsh, Bob (Nancy) Walsh, Daniel (Dottie) Walsh, David Walsh, and Marty (Barb) Walsh; a sister, Susan (Gary) Bapst; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Marty Walsh.
