Michael E. Lee

Michael E. Lee, 58, of Shady Lane, died at 11:05 a.m. June 23, 2020, at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Michael was born May 15, 1962, in Greensburg, the son of Kathleen “June” Lee. He married Dawn J. Johnson September 28, 1985. He was a member of IUPAT for 25 years, The Union of Painters and Allied Trades. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He loved being with his grandbabies. All services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Michael. Survivors include his wife, Dawn; daughters, Paige (Bobby Grider) Lee and Nikki Whittington, both of Columbus; several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Michael Evan Lee and Mackenzie E. Mathis; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; and a grandson, Christian Andrew Lucas.
