Alvin Lester Arbuckle

Alvin Lester Arbuckle, 87, of Columbus, passed away September 24, 2020 at his home. Alvin was born February 10, 1933 in Lexington, Indiana, the son of Forrest and Beulah Handlon Arbuckle. He married Frances Cowles on October 22, 1955. Alvin is survived by his wife; his two children Pamela (James) Bikun of Aurora, Colorado and Jeffery L. Arbuckle of Honolulu, Hawaii; as well as his two brothers Marvin L. Arbuckle of Lexington, Indiana and Maurice W. (Carolyn) Arbuckle of Danville, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as three siblings Forrest Arbuckle, Betty Arbuckle, and Ivan Arbuckle. Alvin was a member of First Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was employed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds until his retirement. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Cash officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday. Inurnment will be at the First Baptist Church Columbarium. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or First Baptist Church.
