Stanley R. Holley, 75, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, December 12th 2020 at his home. Stanley was born on May 11, 1945 in Columbus to William Holley and Magdaline Bragg Holley. He married Marita Thomas on October 25, 1963. Stanley was a proud Army veteran. He owned Holley’s Landscaping and retired from Cummins Engine Company. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Calling will be from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home followed by a private service with Pastor Tim Tallent officiating and military honors by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Survivors include his wife; Marita Holley; children, Tammie (Randy) Pool of Columbus, Julie (Marty) Tallent of Hope, Shelley Burton of Columbus and Jason Holley of Columbus; sisters, Darlene (Roy) Burton of Columbus, Barbara (Jeff) Stephens of Illinois, Shirley (Jim) Burnette of Illinois, Susie (Debbie) Holley of Columbus; grandchildren, Nakia Pool, Marita Tallent, Shane Pool, Jane (Kenneth) Maynard, Holley Tallent, Shelby Seward and Erica (Lee Poag) Burton; 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Herbert Holley Due to the new mandate limiting gatherings to 50 people, visitors are required to wear face masks and maintain social distancing. We encourage you to share your support with the family, being cognizant that others wish to do the same. You may be asked to wait outside the building as we comply with this mandate.

    • Great video he was a great man! Worked for him , and Stanley and Bill. Lived with Stanley and morita and girls when I was young. Loved them all great family. My name is Bill Donnell.
