Beverly Ann Wood

Beverly Ann Wood, 70, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Beverly was born April 3, 1950, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy Cooper Wood. She loved to read and especially loved her cats. She enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, growing flower, and was a huge Elvis Presley fan. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Misty (John) Henderson and Tiffany Davis both of Columbus, a brother Dennis (Elaine) Wood of Indianapolis, and grandchildren, Cassidy Davis, Madison Henderson, and Reece Davis, as well as step-grandchildren, Zachary Flynn, Shane Henderson, and Nathen Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a brother, Dannie Wood. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 5. 2020 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Buterbaugh officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society. As per the mandated guidelines, all visitors are required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
