Pearl Belle Moody

Pearl Belle Moody, 87, of Columbus, died at 2:30 PM on January 6, 2021 at Compass Park Masonic Home in Franklin, IN. Pearl was born April 13, 1933 in Bay City, MI the daughter of Justus Dowd and Aletta Blanche Curtis. Pearl attended Flintwood Wesleyan church in Columbus IN. She loved attending sporting events in which her family were participating in. Pearl enjoyed working in her yard. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Flintwood Wesleyan Church with Pastor Wes Jones officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Monday, January 11, 2021 at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN. Memorials may be made to the Flintwood Wesleyan Church or Indiana Masonic Home Foundation P.O. Box 44210 Indianapolis, IN 46209-4489. Survivors include son, Michael (Mary) Moody of Westport, daughters, Teresa (Ricky) Brown of Columbus, Carrie (Steve) Carothers of Columbus, Susan (Dan) Christophel of Columbus, grandchildren, Christeen Moody, Joe Moody, Joshua Smith, Amanda Washburn, Jennifer Matlock, Benjamin Brown, Adam Brown, Chelsea Christophel, Taylor Jessup, great grandchildren, Willow Rynerson, Isabelle Foley, Angelique Smith, Jesse Smith, Thomas Smith, Dylan Smith, Annabelle Smith, Maxwell Washburn, Graham Washburn, Talon Jessup, Thaise Jessup, Caleb Spencer, Avery Spencer, Greta Brown, Meg Brown, Morgan Smith, James Brown, Skylar Matlock, Conner Matlock , Wyatt Smith, sisters, Lois Lavery of Greencastle, IN, Lynn Bromley of Walkerville, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father, Justus Dowd, mother, Aletta Blanche Curtis, brother, Curtis Dowd, great grandchild, Keegan Matlock. Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
