Dennis Alan Deffenbaugh

Dennis Alan Deffenbaugh, 73, of Columbus passed away January 4, 2021. He leaves his mother, Katherine Hoffman; son, Heath Deffenbaugh with his wife Angie and two grandsons, Heath & Hayden; sisters, Sherry Hawson, Susan DiFrancesca and Glenda Bennetts. Dennis was raised in the Cincinnati area. He served 4 years in the Air Force, then was employed as a truck driver. He worked as an electrician most of his life. After working for Arvin Industries he started his own electrical business D & K Electrical Repair. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eagles Lodge, American Legion or the Bartholomew County Humane Society. There will be no services, a celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Lodge, 930 Washington St. Columbus, IN on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
