How do I say goodbye to Jake! More than a friend, he was family, “Pap” to our Korbin, Kendall and Kiersten. From the first time Sharon and I met you and Jesse, was to love you. What a couple you two were. The countless grandkid activities, ball games, dance recitals, grandparent days at Scipio, Fourth of July picnics at North Vernon park, Thanksgiving meals, hunting trip to Kansas, sharing the “bus” schedule to Scipio pre-school, Halloween bonfires; we could fill a book with memories, but instead will cherish them each and share them from time to time with our grandkids and beyond far as long as God sees fit. Thank you Jake for sharing your life with us. You were truly SPECIAL and made everyone privileged to know you feel special also. Goodbye Dear Friend.
Don and Sharon Baird.
Truly one of the good guys! A great baseball grandpa to all of our boys. It was such a pleasure to share my son with you and your family. We have so many great memories. I knew I could always count on seeing you at the games. Rest in peace dear sweet man. What a legacy you leave behind.
Dot.
