Barbara June David Walker, 68, of Columbus, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 10, 2021, with her family in their home.
Barbara was born Jan. 10, 1953, to Grover C. David Jr. & Mary Jane Aynes Dyer in Brown County, Indiana where she grew up with her brother and three sisters. Barbara graduated from Brown County High School. For the past 33 years she has worked at American Rental. When her mother retired as store manager from American Rental, Barbara took over as the store manager. Barbara loved spending time with her family and enjoyed shopping in her spare time. She was dedicated to serving others in her career, family and community.
Barbara is survived by her son Bryan (Angie) Ramsey and his 3 children; Devin, Brylee & Nevaeh; her late son Timothy Kristian David's two sons Triston and Quenton David; as well brother David P. David and sisters Vickie Blake, Liz Brennan and Dori David. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John E. Walker III and her oldest son Timothy Kristian (Kris) David.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home on 25th Street. in Columbus, IN. Entombment will be held in a private ceremony at Garland Brook Mausoleum at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Schneck Cancer Center thru Schneck Foundation schneckmed.org/givenow. Checks may be made out to the Schneck Foundation with “Cancer Center” in the memo.

Barb will be miss by many. Her smile, her laugh, her kindness always helping everyone. So many memories of her and will always remember them. So sorry for your loss.
