Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I worked with Dean for several years at Williams Industries. Dean always had a smile on his face and brightened up everyone’s day. I feel blessed to have known him and will always have fond memories of this time. I will always think of Dean as one of my best friends. Will miss you buddy!

  2. I worked with Dean at TJG. He will be greatly missed. He was always willing to do whatever was asked of him and was always looking out for the best interest of the company. His standard answer to most questions was “Don’t worry Mark, we’ve got this”.

  3. What a great guy…. He will be missed very much. I considered Dean a good friend and enjoyed talking and joking around with him. He had that easy going personality and was always checking to see how you were doing. Dean was one of those people you looked forward to seeing every day. I miss him as I know we all do. It is not the same without ya Deano!!

    • Rachel, you were such a beautiful joy to your dad all your life. Hold onto that so you keep on being his joy. Dean loved talking about you girls and I loved to listen. I know you were a huge comfort to your dad over this past year. I’m so very sorry for your terrible pain in losing him. I just hope you find comfort knowing how important it was that you were there for him. I know both Lauren and now your dad will keep on watching over you and Jackson. May our great friend Rest In Peace. Always our love & sympathy. Randy & Jeanie Scofield

  4. I knew Dean since Parkside Elementary. We played football together at Northside and CNHS. Good guy and real easy to share a laugh with..always
    Rest In Peace

  5. Was thinking about my dear friend Dean the other day. I ought to call him and catch up, I thought. Sure wish I had called him. We always think we have more time.
Dean was a great friend and a gentle giant. He would do anything in the world for you. I got to know him when he worked at Williams Industries. He first started out as a salesperson, then moved into management of our printing operations. He was a wealth of knowledge and had the gift for getting the work accomplished. We worked together on several projects. He was so much fun to work alongside.

Dean and and I would go to the gym and workout during the lunch hour. Sometimes(quite often), Dean would convince myself, Basey, Haymond, and anyone else to grab some lunch. We would pile into his Jeep and head to his favorite lunch places. (Chicken Inn, Cagney’s, El Meson, etc, etc). He was always quick to pick up the check. No alligator arms on this guy!

We shared both business & personal conversations. When we talked he would dote on his family. You could tell he loved them very much. He was a proud dad and grandfather. Dean was easy to talk to and was always my “wingman” in life and work. I will miss you Dean.

  6. I only knew his daughter Lauren – she was my best friend at work and when she passed away in December of 2019 I was devastated, especially for her family. Dean’s with her now and I’m glad they can be together again, but my heart just aches even more now for their family and their friends! Sending love and light to them all. ♥️

  7. I really appreciate the opportunity to know such a pleasant man. I got to meet Dean through golf at Timbergate. He was always in such a great mood and created relaxed atmosphere. That Dean smile… He could crush a drive.

  8. Hello, My name is Carol Bland. I was your father’s cousin. I didn’t know he passed away until our cousin Mike told me about 6 months ago. I’m very sorry for your loss.
Years ago when our Grandmother passed your father was given the only known picture of our grandfather. I would love to have a copy if at all possible. I can come to Columbus anytime. Please let me know if you are aware of this or any other pictures of our relatives. I would like to place them on the web. My phone number is: 812-606-5335 she had shared
