Ethan Johns
Ethan Tyler Johns, 26, of Columbus, passed away August 11, 2021. He was born March 24, 1995 in Houston, TX, to Michael Johns and the late Virginia L. Golden Johns. He served in the U.S. Army and was presently employed as a thermal screener for Allied Universal Security Services. He is also survived by his step-mother, Norma Lou Johns; twin sister, Diedra Emily Johns of Bloomington; sisters, Jessica (Jacob) Bender, of Pittsboro, and Miranda (George) Johns-Cummings, of Normal, IL; brothers, Logan Tyler Lauderbaugh, of Columbus, Christopher (Toni) Lauderbaugh, of Bloomington, and Ian Johns, of Columbus; and five nieces. A memorial service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with visitation from 1:30 until the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorial gifts have been suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
