Victoria Jane "Vicki" Brownfield

Victoria Jane “Vicki” Brownfield, 75, of Columbus, passed away at 6:56 p.m. Wednesday September 15, 2021 at her home with her sister at her side. She was born September 7, 1946 in Columbus to the late Charles Taylor Brownfield and Mable Irene Poland Brownfield. Vickie retired from Cummins, Inc after 44 years of service. Vicki was an animal lover who especially loved horses.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 18, 2021 at New Harmony Cemetery with Lew Wilson and Melvin Lykins officiating. There will be no visitation hours. Arrangements are entrusted the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Vicki is survived by her sister, Lynn Brownfield of Columbus; a son Michael Thomas Brownfield of Del Rio, Texas and 3 grandchildren, Aurora Thomas, Lyra Brownfield and Arthur Brownfield. Memorial contribution in memory of Vickie may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, the Bartholomew County Humane Society through the funeral home. I sure hope she did get a bite of zucchini bread. I will miss her shiny smile when I would come over with the bread. and telling me that her and her sister would have fun eating some of it.
