Sherry – I have thought of you often through the years and was sad to see that your mother passed. She was a beautiful person and I have many fond memories of spending time at your house when we were growing up. God bless you and your family and comfort you at this time of loss.

What a great loss to the family! I first met Carol when she was 17 and planning her marriage to my neighbor, Charley; it was easy to get to like her. Recently she left messages on my Find-a-grave site which stated how she missed the old group from First Street in Columbus. God bless her family.
Thank you for sharing. I appreciate hearing others’ memories of mom.

Sherry, Mark and Amy, So sorry to hear about your mom. She was like a second mom to me and Sherry cause we were at your house all the time. I still remember the weekend trips to Medora and running around town. She was a sweet lady. Sending Prayers for comfort and hugs to each of you.

Thank you TT! We appreciate that
Very sad just hearing of Carol’s passing. She lived on one side of a duplex on Wallace Avenue in Columbus, IN when I moved into the other side of it in March of 1989. I was honored to be her neighbor for about 12 years until she moved out. She still occasionally kept in touch through the years.
Best neighbor one could ever ask for…kind, quiet, courteous, considerate, and caring. She kept her place clean and even planted – and cared for – flowers in the flower bed off the front porch, even on my side. Always had a smile and kind word for me.
I have missed her, but will never forget her.
Fly high and rest easy, Carol. If I can be a better person going forward maybe I’ll see you again.
