Dear Norb, George, Robby and families,
Our hearts go out to you at this very difficult time. Wish we could be there together for the memorial service! Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you. Your Mom was a second mom to us! She was so generous of spirit, her time, and was always prepared to listen, to lend a hand and to share her infectious laugh. Only days ago, I retrieved a collection of clothes that she knit for our Barbie dolls one Christmas ages ago, and gave them to my granddaughter Sadie, 3 years old, for her first Barbie doll. She was delighted and it brought back such delightful memories of so many family milestones and visits and happy times shared. Katineni, your dear dad, and my parents, were quite the force of nature when they got together — whether it was dancing at those gorgeous Hungarian Balls in Cleveland, OH, or as part of their bowling team, or on weekends playing a ruckus, wild game of cards and telling tall tales and having shots of palinka. I am quite certain they are all reunited now and the joyous dancing, exuberant singing and the games have already begun!!
Much love,
Eva Jakso Perlman and Family

Dear d, George and Rob,
Our hearts and prayers are with your family at this time. I am at a loss for words to express how I feel, but I will give it my best!
Your mom was my 2nd mom my entire life! She had a wonderful sense of humor, and was slightly ornery too! I love her for it! She was my sponsor for confirmation, and I still have the beautiful Bible and statue she gave me!
I have many great memories of our families together as we grew up! Friday nights going to College Bowl in Canton while our parents bowled on their league. Afterwards, we would head over to whoever’s turn it was to host the Hungarian weekly card game. We would fall asleep as we waited for our parents to finish playing, all the while listening to their laughter and banter back and forth while they played! Not to mention the amazing meals your mom and my mom would cook together! I really miss those days!! Your mom was also there for me when I was going through some really trying and difficult times. She was always willing to listen, and lend me her shoulder to cry on. I will always treasure and appreciate that!
Know that I am thinking of you all and wish we could be there with you!
Much Love Always,
Marika (aka Mary), Rick, and Alex Haddad

My condolences to the family. I know the last few years have been hard. I know Katie is finally glad to be with Poppa and her puppy. She was loved and she will be missed. Take care of one another. Much Love, LIsa Neal
To the Abraham Family,
I, too, worked with Katie at Tovey Shoes years ago and I am saying good-bye once again from the same location. Katie was from Hungary and she was surprised to find out I knew some of her language and her daughter-in-law, Maureen, married to George. My grandparents spoke some Hungarian but spoke Slovac. fluently. We shared some wonderful times together at Tovey’s while sharing recipes during lunch time. I got to spend time with her and Norbert Sr. when they moved into their new home they had built. She and Norbert were so very proud of their boys and was so pleased to finally have daughter-in-laws with some grandchildren to follow. Katie loved to cook and sharing her meals with her family. Thank you, Katie, for so many wonderful memories and her friendship.
Peace and Love Always,
Pat Robinholt and family,
