Doris M. Holwager
March 4, 1947 ~ December 24, 2021
Doris Holwager passed away on December 24th, 2021, at the age of 74.
Often the life of any group, she was sassy and spunky and could make anyone laugh. She loved sewing, embroidery, playing games on her IPad, shopping for hours at Walmart, and watching the daytime soaps.
Doris retired from Reebok after thirty years to spend more time with the family she loved more than anything.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Emily (Rose) Thomas; Great-grandson Jensen Waterman; Sisters, Emma Webb and Martha Fillers; Brothers, Otis Thomas and James Thomas.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Paula (Chuck) Waterman; Grandsons, Josh (Nicki) Waterman and Justin (Angie) Waterman; Great-grandson, Jaxson Waterman; Sisters, Carolyn Stant and Ellen Shull; Numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Memorial calling will be from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
