Cynthia S. “Cindy” Roberts, 67, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, IN. Cindy was born in Depew, NY on February 27, 1954 to George Scheffler and Grace Sheffler. She married Steve D. Roberts in November 1997.
Cindy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved spending time with Steve and doing genealogy.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4850 W. Goeller Road, Columbus, IN 47201. Calling will be one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Roberts; brother, Joe Senior; sisters, Rachel True and Phyllis Charles; sisters-in-law, Mary J. Senior and Judy (John) Warner.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

Cindy and Steve were our neighbors when living on Franklin Street. Loved Cindy’s contagious personality and laugh. Have lost touch over the years but there will always be a fond memory in my heart of these two.
