Nancy Ann Loweth

Nancy Ann Loweth, 74, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 23, 2022 at her home. She was born December 26, 1947 in Roxboro, North Carolina to the late Newman and Mary (Lovelace) Harris. She married Edward Loweth on August 28, 1981 and he survives. Nancy was a longtime member of the Garden City Church of Christ and enjoyed watching religious programming on television. She was currently employed at the Hilton Garden Inn in housekeeping. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved all her grandchildren including Joey and Anthony Chasteen, whom she raised. She loved going to the casinos. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions in memory of Nancy may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Nancy is survived by her husband, Ed; sons, Eddie (Terry) Loweth and Kevin Chasteen; daughters, Wendy (David) Franklin, Pam (Thomas) Nelson and Jerrie Posey; brothers, John (Cheryl) Harris and David Harris; sister, Mary (Roger) Lee; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joe Chasteen; daughter Lori Huber and her brother Lee Harris.
