Donald Ray Lee

Donald Ray Lee, 72, of Columbus passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born June 22, 1949 in Grayson County, KY a son of the late Paul James and Irene (Blair) Lee. Donald retired from Cummins. He enjoyed attending church; spending time with family especially his grandchildren; attending yard sales and junk store shopping. His two cats, Pumpkin and Elsie, were his loyal companions. Surviving is his daughter, Holly Spring (Nathan) Bell of Hope; grandchildren, Jacob Bell; Jackson Bell; Anna Bell; and Ava Bell; brothers, Paul Lee, Jr.; Frank Lee; and Jerry Lee; all of Columbus; and sister, Wilma Leonard of Columbus. He was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert Lee; Jessie Lee; Charles Lee; and William T. Lee; sister, Glenda Delaney; and his favorite cat and best friend, Skitz. Funeral service is 10:00 Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home 8355 25th Street Columbus. Visitation is 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery.
