Harley S. Yates, 29, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana. She was born October 11, 1992 in Columbus a daughter of the late Jerry Lee and Gail (Thompson) Yates. Harley loved spending time with her children, fishing and the outdoors. Surviving are her children, Korbin Burton; and Bristol Yates; brothers, Josh Yates of Columbus; and Cody Nay of Seymour; grandfather, Dale Wolfe of North Vernon; aunts, Alina (Cliff) Burton of Columbus; Terry Peters of Greensburg; Robin (Jeff) Patterson of North Vernon; Dalena Roberson; and Kim Wolfe; uncles, Mack (Ronda) Thompson of Gatlinburg, TN; and Greg (Anna) Yates of North Vernon; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Bobbie & Mack Thompson; and Rose Wolfe; and uncles, Michael Yates; and J.R. Yates. Funeral service is 7:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2022 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home 3855 25th Street Columbus with visitation from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Hillcrest City Cemetery in North Vernon at a later date.

She was an amazing Lil’ Heifer! Although she struggled, she often spoke of her babies and her love for everyone was real, Harley was as real as they come! May you rest easy sweet girl!
