Harold Eugene Hoover, Sr. of Columbus, passed to Heaven on January 28, 2022. He was born June 12, 1945, in Columbus to Harley and Edell Pittman Hoover, where he spent his youth before joining the Army for a tour in Thailand. 1. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I’ve known Harold for years him and Barb was very good and they both loved serving the lord . Josh and Jr are going to miss him terribly Josh loved his papaw with all his heart. RIP Harold you will be missed by so many.Mrs Brockman

    • I will remember how Uncle Harold always made me laugh. I can imagine the joy in Heaven when he arrived. He will certainly be missed here on earth.

    • My wife and I have memories we will never forget. Harold and Barbara and JR and Ray were our next door neighbors for years. We loved them all dearly and have missed them ever since we moved away from there. They were great neighbors and dear friends and our brother and sister in the Lord. We attended the same church and also shared singing together. They both will always be in our best memories.

  2. My favorite memory of Harold & Barb is when we attended a church revival together and of them singing & playing. They were always very loving & encouraging. They will forever be loved & missed.

  3. Harold and Barbara left many fond memories when they visited our home. They really enjoyed Karaoke. However the best memory for everyone was the two of them sharing
a microphone and singing a gospel song for everyone. Harold was always quite the character, but that was one time Barbara stole the show.
    We will miss them both.
    Our deepest sympathy,
    Tom&Joyce Kimberlin

  4. My brother was a fine story teller. If he didn’t get a belly laugh out of you, then you didn’t have a sense of humor. At family get togethers, we would laugh and laugh. Then Harold would play guitar and we’d have a sing along. Those are the moments I’ll treasure forever. I love and miss you brother.
    Your sis Ruby. RIP
