Christmas Eve in the Meyer family always meant Grandma’s house for light dinner and family time. I will always remember the year Shane was on call for the fire department and he received an alert to Santa’s whereabouts and had us all be quiet long enough to listen. You will be missed by so many!
My love to Shane’s family! Will never forget you as a little boy with that gorgeous blonde curly hair!

Sent a gift in memory of Shane Bontrager
Shane was such a kind person. He was always willing to step in and help with whatever needed to be done. I happened to run into on a day I was struggling a bit with something. I soon found myself talking to him about it. He was such a good listener and his kind words during our conversation left me feeling better about the situation. He will be missed.

I was on the Fire Department with Shane for 7 or 8 years. He was a very good guy. I know how much he loved his family and his kids. He spoke of how proud he was of them. He had a way with people and always had a smile on his face. Glad I got to know him. Prayers for His Wife and Kids.
