Nancy A. Rodman

Nancy A. Rodman, 92, of Columbus, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Silver Oaks Health Campus. She was born on February 10, 1930 to Earl Elliott and Lora Andrews Elliott. Nancy married Max D. Rodman on November 19, 1949. A private graveside service will be held on April 13, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, IN. Survivors include her son, John (Marit) Rodman of Washington, DC; daughters, Nanette Compton of Columbus, IN and Suzanne (Rick) Sexton of Bloomington, IN; grandchildren, Sara (Cody) Maddox, Nathan Scalf, Emily Sexton, Michael Compton and Madeleine Rose Rodman; great-grandchildren, Tripp Maddox, Hunter Beesley and William Scalf. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lora Elliott; husband, Max D. Rodman on July 23, 2015; son, David Wayne Rodman and a grandson, John W. Sexton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, Columbus, IN.
