Melodie Kay Redford “Mel,” died at the age of 65 on May 9th in Seymour, Indiana. She is survived by three children who will forever be impacted by her life and love, Christopher Vic Polk Jr (wife, Kelly, children Amaya, Schuyler, Angelina), Katina Kay Redford Kindle (husband, Greg, children Tyler & Zachary), and Melissa Marie Clemens (children, Kayla & Samuel). She is greatly missed by her mother Sharon Kay Myers, and siblings Ricky Ray Neal, Monica Joy Dillion, and Rosemary Irene Myers. Her loss is also felt by numerous extended family and friends. Mel worked hard and loved fiercely. She poured her life into her family and always gave a hand up to those in need. She was employed by Cummins for 25 years and was a member of the American Legion. She loved playing in the dirt to grow things, woodworking, camping, riding her motor trike, and spoiling her dogs Molly & Abby. She would be angry that we are making a big deal of her life, but she deserves it, and we will smile, cry, and celebrate the wonderful woman that she was. 1. Oh Mel, I can’t even express my emotions. I just talked to you Sunday. You were much more than my neighbor growing up, you were chosen family. You made such an impact on my life throughout all the things I went through, elementary through graduation, through a divorce and a huge move, life and career changes, you were always a rock through it all. You were an amazing woman, who endured and conquered so many things. You taught me so much over the last 20+ years. I cannot imagine what your family is feeling right now. You will be missed by so many people. I am so thankful you were a part of my life. Love you so so much ❤️

  2. Mel was a wonderful and loving person. She helped me with the backsack program when I was in charge of the program at Cummins. I am sure she will be missed by all who knew and loved her

  4. Thank you so much, Rootkits Credit Specialist, for helping me raise my credit score and erase negative items. It took a little over 9 days to get my credit just where I needed it. Now I’m pre-approved for a mortgage, and I’m currently house shopping! It’s a dream come true and a personal goal accomplished with your help. THANK YOU! I’m recommending them to anyone in desperate need of credit repair (rootkitscreditspecialist@gmail.com). They will change your life in a matter of days.
