Randall Keith Nichols

Randall Keith Nichols, 57, of Columbus, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1965 in Franklin, Indiana to Vernon Edd Nichols, and Lucille Vance. Randall was an intelligent, gentle, quiet man who loved to read, especially bible scriptures with his companion Nina. He enjoyed music, and had taught himself to play piano at a young age. He received his high school diploma and furthered his education as a student of Ivy Tech Community College. He loved to cook, and spend time outdoors fishing, or simply feeding the squirrels. He spent his last moments on Earth happily spending time with his one and only sister, and his niece, Melanie Nichols, and her son. Randall is survived by his son, Brian Gavin Nichols, of Columbus; loving companion, Nina Hardin, and her children, of Columbus; sister, Delores Joann Sams; brother, George Ricky Nichols; and one grandson. Randall is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Lucille Nichols; a beloved son, Josh Cain Nichols; and brothers, Orville Eugene Nichols, Hurley Ray Nichols, Tony Michael Nichols, Russell Eric Nichols, Darrell Junior Nichols, Edgar DeWayne Nichols, Mark Anthony Nichols, and Joseph Lee Nichols. A memorial service is being held at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Derek Carpenter officiating.
