Shawna T. Lowe, 55, of Columbus, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2022 at her home. She was born in Columbus to James Parrigin and Hazel Adams Parrigin on June 16, 1966. She married Brian Lowe.
Shawna was a registered nurse. She was previously employed at Columbus Regional Hospital for 15 years.
There will be no services at this time, cremation is planned.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Lowe of Columbus, IN; a son, Daniel Lowe of Columbus, IN and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Lowe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Parrigin; mother, Hazel Bowling; brother, Jimmy Parrigin and a sister, Melody Estes.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

We worked together at the hospital. She was always so sweet and supportive.
We had a lot of laughs during our time together on 3T. She was great to work with. Her family is in my prayers.
I became friends with Shawna while we both worked at 3T. She became a friend outside the hospital. She was one of the kindest, sweetest people I ever met. My life was better for knowing her.
Those of us that worked with Shawna on 3T were so blessed. She was always so sweet, caring, and had the most contagious smile. Her family will be in our prayers.
Beautiful sweet precious loving young lady. Loved working with her at Columbus Regional. Best nurse, loved her patients and their families. Wonderful mother. Loyal friend. Praying for her precious family. God bless you with comfort and His peace in Jesus name.
