Tony Glenn Michael

Tony Glenn Michael, 55, of Columbus, passed away August 24, 2022 surrounded by his family. Tony was born May 27, 1967 in Columbus, the son of Harold Gene and Jackie O’Neal Scott Michael. Tony became a Christian at Come as You Are Ministries where he attended regularly. He enjoyed playing guitar and sketching/art. Tony loved being outdoors in the sun. He loved to go camping, fishing, swimming, and laying around in the sun. Most of all, Tony loved his family. He enjoyed every moment he got to spend with them. He is survived by his son Dillion Michael of North Carolina; a grandson Landyn Andrew Michael, a step-daughter Kaitlyn Hayes of North Vernon; brothers Donnie Michael and Richie Michael both of Columbus; his fiancé Connie Hunter of Columbus; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his father Harold Gene Michael; his mother Jackie O’Neal Scott Porter; his daugher Candace Nicole Michael; as well as his sister Patty Gene Snyder. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Hurt officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday.
