Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Erica was my childhood best friend. We loved going to the pool together and spending the night with one another. I remember when we were young, I went with Erica and her mom, I don’t remember where we went. I do remember Erica and I singing Lamb Chop’s, “this is the song that doesn’t end”, over and over and over. I don’t know how Susan managed to stay sane that trip. I’ll cherish all of my childhood memories of Erica. She was such a bubbly and fun person to be around. Sending lots of hugs and love to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Erica.

  2. Susan and Erica.
I do not have words that would help you right now. My heart broke when Lisa called and told me of Erica’s death. As prayed for you and your family, this image came toind. Erica used colors in her art during her life. How appropriate that this image spoke to me. Erica was welcomed into our Heavenly Father’s healing arms. I see her curled up in the lap of God.
The chalk drawing on my driveway spoke to me. Erica has been welcomed home.

  3. I tried to share this earlier, but my phone and this site were not being friendly; usually, that means the timing isn’t right. Hoping today is the right day and the right timing for this to post…

    Oh Woman.
Thank you for being a silent supporter, always. For just being, when we lost our first baby. For celebrating with tie-dye onesies and Spiderman blankets when we welcomed little miss Dylan into life. For showing up from states away when Dylan breathed her last breaths on earth. Thank you for your love of cats and all things nature. For inspiring me to just paint. Your artwork was one of a kind. I was sad when you won our Tony away from us, but I’m thankful for the love and friendship you gave to him.

Erica, may the sun shine warm upon your face…

  4. I only just learned of her passing. My thoughts and memories are not organized, but wanted to say that she was a good friend back in elementary school days. We bonded in class cracking up at cheesy educational videos and not keeping still at our desks (2nd grade?). We didn’t keep in touch very well but I always loved running into around Indiana her over the years. She will always be one of my formative friends.

  6. I will always consider Erica one of my best friends from school. Although we hadn’t spoken in some time I thought of her often and will always treasure her friendship. She was a beautiful soul. I am so sorry for your loss.

  7. I just loved being around Erica when I lived in Indiana and she was a young child. She wandered contentedly in my back yard, noticing things I totally missed. I was intrigued by her drawing and drawing and drawing. I felt a special presence with her. I am really grieved to learn of her death. I had decided to look her up, certain I would find her art and an update of how she is now. My heart is sad that she no longer is creating. I like to imagine that her spirit is even now inspiring us to good things, to being more creative and
in tune with natural life around us. It was a life privilege to meet her.
I reach out with love to the family and dear friends. We have all been blessed by knowing her. Affectionately, Jeannie MacArthur, Austin, TX
