Peggy was born on April 23, 1934, to Arthur and Lula Beyl. She was born and raised in Sellersburg, Indiana along with her six (6) sisters.
She married Richard L. Dunlevy on September 9, 1955. They were the proud parents of three daughters: Cynthia “Cindy” Dunlevy of Columbus, Lynda Dunlevy of Indianapolis, and Diane Dunlevy of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She also volunteered, along with her late husband, at Love Chapel. She served as a Book Buddy for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in the last years of her life.
She enjoyed reading, walking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Her faithful cat Alejandro provided her companionship for the last few years of her life.

She is survived by her sister Phyllis Beyl (Sellersburg); her daughters Cindy, Lynda, and Diane Dunlevy; grandchildren Kaylan Fields (Columbus) and Lee James Hamilton (Indianapolis); and her great-granddaughter Jada Fields (Columbus).
