Charles Eugene Pedigo

Charles E. “Chuck Pedigo” Sr., 77 of Columbus, passed away on October 14, 2022. Mr. Pedigo was born May 31, 1945 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Wilbur and Clodeen (McCarter) Pedigo.
Chuck lived in Columbus for the majority of his life, when his parents moved here from Tennessee.
Chuck was employed by Saps Bakery, which later became Dolly Madison. Charles enjoyed activities outside including fishing and camping; he also enjoyed watching westerns. He absolutely loved being around his family, and was known to eat Thanksgiving at his siblings’ home and caused ruckus telling them they both cooked better than each other. Chuck also enjoyed going to his brother’s house and watching the pay-per view professional wrestling events.
Charles is survived by his children Charles Pedigo Jr., Steven Pedigo, Timothy Pedigo and Ava (Brian) George. He is also survived by his brother Vandel (Ann) Pedigo; his sister Norma (Michael) Johns and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Pedigo and his brother Wrenford Pedigo and Gael Pedigo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 between 11:00 – 1:00, with funeral services to follow at 1:00, at Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Garland-Brook Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home, Columbus, Indiana.

I got to know Chuck in the early 90s , got to spend a lot of time with him and his siblings, he luved his family with all his heart , he was such a caring and kind hearted person , i believe the best man i have ever met , you will be missed Chuck ,you luved and respected my family so much .
