Paul Milburn Taylor, 93, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at The Belmont at Tipton Lakes - Senior Living in Columbus.
Paul was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky on December 16, 1929, the son of Rufus A. and Katie Wright Taylor. He married Mary Belle England on November 18, 1950.
Paul was U.S. Army Veteran as well as a member of Elizabethtown United Methodist Church. After retiring from Cosco Inc., he went to work for Jim Gordon Inc. for many years.
Paul is survived by his children Dennis Taylor, Timothy Ray Taylor, Brenda (Rick) Gordon, and Linda (Michael) Meyer all of Columbus; grandsons, David (Melissa) Meyer, Richie (Lesli) Gordon, Scott (Michelle) Gordon, and Brent Gordon; great-grandchildren, Morgan Meyer, Claudia Gordon, Claira Gordon, Logan Gordon, Lincoln Gordon, and Sophie Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Belle Taylor on October 4, 2013; and his brother, Raymond Taylor.
A private service will be held at a later date with Military Graveside rites performed by the Bartholomew County Veteran’s Honor Guard. Paul will be buried next to his wife at Daugherty Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

To Dennis and the Taylor family – Our condolences on the passing of your father (Paul). Although I did not know him well, I have known the Taylor Family for many years after attending school with Dennis.
