Larry C. Rudd

Larry C. Rudd, 73, of Taylorsville, died at 6:30 a.m. on May 22, 2023, at Majestic Nursing Home in Indianapolis. Larry was born September 30, 1949, in Indianapolis, the son of Leslie and Mary Elizabeth (Woodman) Rudd. He married Kathy S. Henry in 1998. In his younger years, Larry worked with and mentored troubled youth and was a former volunteer firefighter, EMS, and security guard. Larry always tried to help people as much as he could and was always for the underdog. He loved animals, especially dogs, and was deeply passionate about his lawncare company which he owned for 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Rudd; sons, Chris (Lora) Rudd and Scott (Erika) Rudd both of Nashville, IN; daughters, Lynne (Ramon) Clark of Princeton, IN, and Leah Knight of Columbus; brothers, Marc (Kelly) Rudd and David Rudd both of Nashville, IN; many grandchildren and a couple of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mary Rudd, and brother, John Rudd. Honoring the family's wishes, cremation was chosen. There are no services planned at this time.
